Class Dress Code

The dress code will encourage discipline and a feeling of unity among the dancers. 

Preschool - age 6

  • Ballet- black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes with elastic across instep

  • Tap- white tap shoes. Dance skirts are allowed

  • Jazz (age 5-6) tan jazz shoes

Age 7 and older

  • Ballet- black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes with elastic across instep

  • Tap and Jazz- black tap shoes and tan jazz shoes. Dance skirts, shorts, and pants are allowed.

Hip Hop

  • Athletic attire (For example: tank tops, t-shirts, shorts, leggings, bike shorts) Tennis shoes are required.

Competition

  • Tights and leotard are not required; however, dancers must have form-fitting dance wear to ensure proper body alignment and technique are demonstrated in class. (Dancers must be asked to wear all black when rehearing for a performance.
